STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the fruits and vegetables song to introduce the topic and explains that carrot is a kind of vegetable

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the carrot in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of carrots there are

DRAWING AND

COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour the carrot with colour orange as the teacher draws and colours hers on the board

The pupils draw and colour following the leading of the teacher

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify a carrot

  1. How many carrots are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour the carrot

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
