INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours (coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of egg, models of egg

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the food song and introduces the topic and explains that an egg is an offspring of any poultry animal

 

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the egg in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of eggs there are

 

Pupils participate

STEP 3

DRAWING AND

COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour the egg with any colour as the teacher draws and colours hers on the board

The pupils draw and colour following the leading of the teacher

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify an egg

  1. How many eggs are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour the egg

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
