The teacher uses the Old Macdonald had a farm song and introduces the topic and explains that non-living things are things that have no life in them |

She gives various examples of non-living things such as - stones - Paper - Umbrella - cap
She further explains that non-living things cannot do the following - Move - Eat - Breathe - Give birth to young ones - Die |
