STEP 1 INTRODUCTION	The teacher uses a song to introduce the topic The teacher explains that the name of our country is Nigeria	Pupils pay attention and answer questions
STEP 2 EXPLANATION	The teacher further explains that in Nigeria, there are 36 state and capitals	Pupils pay attention and participate
STEP 3 Recitation	Using the Poster, Charts, and Pictures of she recites the first 19 states and their capitals	Pupils repeat after her
STEP 4 NOTE-TAKING	The Teacher writes 19 states and their capitals on the board for the Pupils to copy.	The Pupils copy the not from the board.
