STEP 1 INTRODUCTION |
The teacher uses the 12 sons of Jacob and Joseph’s song to introduce the topic. She explains what a coat of many colours- A coat of many colours is a coat that has many colours like red, yellow, blue, green etc |

She then further explains that Jacob was the son of Isaac who had given birth to 12 sons but whose favourite was his 11th son named Joseph |

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Joseph - How Joseph was sold to a man named Portiphar- an officer in Egypt - How Portiphar’s wife had tried to sleep with Joseph and he ran away - How Portiphar’s wife had lied against Joseph and he was sent to prison - How Joseph interpreted the dreams of the king two servants in prison - How the king had a dream and Joseph interpreted it - How the king appointed Joseph his second-in-command - How Joseph forgave his brothers and was reunited with his brothers and father |
